Blink Charging – From the Desk of the CEO

Friends,

We are living in trying times. The COVID-19 pandemic is affecting every facet of society and changing the way we live our lives. Given the turbulent nature of the current circumstances, I wanted to open up a new channel of communication – straight from my desk to your inbox – to keep you up to date on everything happening with Blink.

As a vehicle utility provider, we are classified as an essential service. Accordingly, Blink will remain open throughout this crisis. This is not a decision I make lightly – nothing is more important to me than the health and safety of the men and women who make up our company. However, doctors and nurses still need to drive to their hospitals, and families still need to be able to shop for groceries and other essentials. We will continue to provide services to meet the needs of EV drivers throughout this difficult time to make sure that they aren’t without a means of transportation when they need it most.

Of course, I urge you to heed social distancing policies and stay home outside of essential activities – but when you do need to head out, know that the Blink network will be there should you need it.

I also want to share the steps and policies we’ve implemented to mitigate the spread of COVID-19. In our warehouse, our employees are encouraged to follow several guidelines diligently to sustain a healthy and safe workplace in this unique environment. Our staff is  required to stay at stations 10 feet apart and there are no more than 4 people working at a time. We are also providing hand sanitizer and requiring all stations and desks to be wiped down before work, at breaks, and at the end of day. Employees are required to eat individually and are observing social distancing protocols inside of work. Employees are required to wash their hands after using the bathroom, before eating, and to cough/sneeze into their elbows (follow the 20-second hand-washing rule). They are asked to open windows regularly to ensure open ventilation. All employees are required to avoid physical contact with their coworkers and take extra percautionay mearusre. These guidelines apply to our shipping department as well.

At our headquarters, we have encouraged employees to work from home if possible. For those who must be in the office, we are strictly enforcing the same guidelines of social distancing protocols and cleaning all surfaces at regular intervals.

I am always grateful for the support our shareholders have shown for Blink, but I want to extend an additional thank-you for your backing during this crisis. On behalf of myself and the entire Blink Charging team, stay safe and take care of yourselves.

Best,

Michael D. Farkas

Founder and Chief Executive Officer
