The Blink HQ includes a membership to the Blink Network, which expands charging options for EV drivers by providing them with access to Blink's public EV charging stations. To thank customers for their purchase of the Blink HQ and introduce them to Blink's public charging locations, a $100 bonus credit for the Blink Network is currently included with a Blink HQ purchase. According to Navigant Research's Electric Vehicle Charging Equipment report published in the 3rd Quarter of 2013, worldwide sales of residential EV service equipment, like the Blink HQ, is anticipated to grow from 445,682 in 2014 to nearly 1.5 Million units by 2022. Navigant Research forecasts that the compound average growth rate of residential EV charging equipment between 2013 and 2022 is 20.6%.

"Providing EV drivers with the opportunity to fast charge their EV at home and connecting them with our public charging stations is the first step in integrating EV charging services and ensuring that drivers have the ability to easily charge their EV wherever they are," said Michael D. Farkas, Chief Executive Officer for CarCharging.  "Additionally, from a revenue standpoint, based on the estimates provided by Navigant Research and at an average price of $500, the worldwide market for residential EV charging stations could be more than $729 Million annually by 2020."

The 240 Volt - 30 Amp Blink HQ offers EV drivers charging capabilities nearly four times faster than the Level I cord provided with the purchase of an EV. The Blink HQ features a convenient delay timer, which provides drivers with the ability to schedule charging times and save money by avoiding peak utility rates. The residential EV charger also includes an 18-foot cable with cable hanger bracket at no additional cost, as well as a 12-month limited parts and labor warranty.
