MIAMI BEACH, Fla., May 8, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Car Charging Group, Inc. (OTCQB: CCGI) ("CarCharging"), the leading provider of electric vehicle (EV) charging services, is pleased to announce that the Blink HQ, the company's residential EV charging station, is available as an amenity at Hudson Woods homes in New York. Designed by Lang Architecture, Hudson Woods is a unique collection of new dwellings in the heart of the Hudson River Valley.

Located just two hours from New York City, Hudson Woods encompasses 131 acres and features 26 architect-designed dwellings meticulously crafted from locally sourced, sustainable materials. Set within the forest and meadows with sweeping mountain views, each home features a modern, eco-friendly design and is constructed from materials sourced from surrounding areas. The Blink HQ offers EV drivers charging capabilities nearly four times faster than the Level I cord provided with the purchase of an EV. The residential EV charger also includes an 18-foot cable with cable hanger bracket at no additional cost, as well as a 12-month limited parts and labor warranty.

"In addition to building a network of public EV charging services, CarCharging is also proud to provide a residential EV charging solution for single-family homes," said Davin Jader, Client Relations Manager, CarCharging.  "We believe that Hudson Woods is the ideal residence for EV drivers and are pleased to support their charging needs with the Blink HQ."

"We are very excited to include the Blink HQ charger in our offering at Hudson Woods," said Jeremy Babel, Lang Architecture. "From locally sourced natural materials to seamlessly integrated technology, the homes aim to be a model of thoughtfully crafted, modern sustainable living in the Hudson Valley. With its great design and intuitive interface, the Blink HQ is a perfect fit with the ethos of Hudson Woods."

Construction of the first house at Hudson Woods is currently underway and is expected to be complete within the next month. Once the model home is finished, prospective buyers will have the opportunity to view and explore the features of the home as well as the Blink HQ.
