Car Charging Group Applauds New California Auto-Emission Standards

Mandates 1.4 Million Electric and Hybrid Vehicles on CA Roads by 2025

(OTCBB:CCGI), a nationwide provider of convenient electric vehicle (EV) charging services for drivers wherever they live, work and play, today praised the California Air Resources Board for passing sweeping auto-emission standards on Friday. The new rules require that one in seven new cars sold in the state in 2025 be an electric or other zero-emission vehicle and mandates a 75% reduction in smog-forming pollutants and a 34% reduction in greenhouse-gas emissions.

"California regulators should be praised for passing such groundbreaking auto-emission standards," said Michael D. Farkas, Chief Executive Officer of Car Charging Group, Inc. "The state has long been a champion of the environment and these new standards build upon that commitment, encouraging consumers to purchase environmentally friendly EVs. We hope other states follow in California's footsteps as the nation transitions to cleaner and more efficient means of transportation."
